Robert Mayo has over 25 years of information technology experience specializing in the design and delivery of cost-effective, high-performance system solutions and implementing fully optimized business operations. Specifically, Mr. Mayo has over 15 years dedicated to the insurance industry, with particular focus on policy issuance systems, claims and loss reporting. As Chief Information Officer for Drivers History, he is responsible for the Company’s IT infrastructure, software development, production systems, databases, security, disaster recovery and business continuity. Prior to joining Drivers History, Mr. Mayo was the Vice President of Business Operations for the Sacramento-based California Dental Association where he managed all of the insurance and agency operations and successfully implemented several new systems. Previously, he was CIO for Subaru of America where he implemented, managed, and supported all mission critical software (Oracle, Siebel, and Best of Breed, Etc.) and the hardware infrastructure to successfully run a $4.5 billion organization, which included supporting a network of over 500 automobile dealers. As senior manager of The PMA Insurance Company, Mr. Mayo managed all of the claims processing systems that included the implementation of a new managed care bill processing system. In addition, he worked as a management consultant for several world-class organizations helping them optimize their computing environments. Those organizations include Countrywide Insurance Group, Balboa Insurance and Amerisource Bergen. Mr. Mayo holds a Master’s degree in organization dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern University.
